  1. This is total BS! The AIE guy sounds more socialist than Wolf does on a policy level. How would we pay for it? Religion fits nicely into the theory of markets as a moral compass but then you have religion the opiate of the people. One problem becomes another problem. If half of Americans under 40 prefer a socialist society that number would include men and women and kids under 18 aware of socialism. Around 80 million people not including adults over 40 who desire socialism, 80 plus. That's big enough for a socialist revolution. Trump supporters are around 70 million and look at the damage they did. Could even be more than 80 million favoring socialism because there is also a working class of 122m people who could be attracted to socialism. Nearly 200 million people are languishing without a political party or leadership from any socialist party to lead the socialist revolution and its not like there isn't a socialist party? If socialism is what this demographic wants then how do they expect to realize a socialist society without a party? There are examples that socialism excels in lifting people out of poverty. China raised the lives of 700 million in one year no one lifetime. Socialism in Russia did the same achievement for its population and generalized capitalism too when the land was given to the peasants. Land, Peace and Bread was the Bolshevik Slogan. Its all based on permitting or nursing the productiveness of labor along in becoming universally owned and not privately owned. This is the role of the US government does not play in society.  The P/L is a rate, and the key which for the US is high and for China is high that poverty can be eradicated in the world in a day not a lifetime if both nations were socialists nations and not one in competition with the other. But among neither guests is the productiveness of labor the deciding factor in creating a true affluent society?
