Police have to be going on two hypothesis: They killed each other or they were ambushed. But with no evidence found as yet the second hypothesis is ruled out but not entirely. There could have been a force that ambushed them in another form. But I would first look at what is their relationship to each other and what led up to the four men deciding on a bike ride and why?

There are no cafe’s, or sufficient public spaces in which to congregate, and just hang out. No free use of public space to put on concerts, dances, sport events that people can create without the authorities giving permission. America is a tightly controlled society. The individual live in a very narrow sphere of activity. Work, travel, home, store, repetitively. Food is commercialized when it should be a key element for socialization. I am not surprised in the least that the young would suffer the effects of America’s social alienation. You cannot even get a rescue animal by simply attending the same space with the dogs, being there for a while and the one that connects with you naturally, forms a bond. Everyone and every animal has to be matched, and this is pure social control that represses the natural aspects of human beings to be social. The only area in life where Americans bond is with babies and even that has become a bond destroyed by separation. I would say none of the family members of the deceased really know their relations and police are expected to sift through the social experiences and social conditioning of victims for leads through a scant amount of material evidence and interviews to come up with a killer. What they are coming with is a social history that makes no sense with the material evidence.

It does not appear that your interests in a safe home and community does not jive with the State’s interest of a secure society if this many escapees is on record in your state. Something fundamentally wrong with the penal system itself,---wrong might be the reliance of the public that system receives without scrutiny. This is not a generation ages 30 to 40 who see this as a political problem. They did not grow up with a social consciousness. Local legislators are worse that no matter how may times a building falls or a hurricane devastates a coastline do nothing to change zoning laws and local officials, i.e., county managers et., in most states are too religious to even sound the alarm of an impending disaster. What will happen is FEMA public funds will get cut in the name of servicing the government’s enormous debt before the government lets it go dry from all the claims and private insurers by high premiums will insure the rich. A debt made larger sending weapons overseas. Mar-A-Lago will be covered others not as rich will not. In the end the allocation of public funds for disasters is more than a case of politicians not coming together to legislate remedies to social problems, the allocation rests on a class differences, as to who will get the support. I know this is the scenario that will happen because the planet continues to heat up and ocean levels continue to rise that next seasons hurricanes will strike with greater ferocity and the government’s priority is not solving the social problems of the American people. The next flood even more powerful, the next drought more severe until the whole society is basically turned into a refugee camp filled with Americans who are not rich and are not white.

@J Rod,----Its corrupt in your eyes but it is not corrupt. Its simple supply exceeding demand. Cops produce more arrests than the prison system can hold. Corruption is outside of the prison system; politicians who cannot get elected if they run on building more prisons. The FBI agent was not wrong. Cops are part of civil society not a part of the prison system and this is because the prison system is a privatized system run for profit, cops are a part of a state system. Bottom line there is no money to be made in keeping the incarcerated incarcerated as it requires the private system hire more guards, buy more food, etc., and this cuts into the profits. Its a failed system that cannot keep up with the rate of incarceration performed by police. Its gets worse because the corruption outside of the prison system does nothing to make the lives of Americans better and you have a failed society as a result.

This is how two particular nations are interacting in the world today. Not a very nice way to behave. When in the moment the participants can’t see themselves as engaged in a process because they are fighting, but they are: The US and Venezuela are in a process of turning migrants into pawns because for decades relations have been antagonistic. Venezuela will use migrants as bargaining chips to lift sanctions and this frees up capital resources for Venezuela. The US will lift sanction with conditions and a new relationship starts, hopefully, a more amicable one to keep people from leaving their homes. Nobody talks to build a bridge they talk only when a crisis needs a bridge. They are just going to do it. No warning, no haggling and Blinken will be flying to Venezuela to hash out an agreement. Really this catastrophe and all the people involved would make a great TV series.

Americans are pro free market capitalism, they vote people in government who believe government should not interfere with the production of necessities, until they realize what is meant by the laissez faire politicians they elect into offices meant to protect the interest of the Public, a free market means millions of people must depend on a producer who can do whatever the hell they want to remain profitable and in existence even if it means what they produce is a killer. The nieve assumption is the assumption that holds people, industries and producers in American society are honest individuals, families and corporations have values would voluntarily take off the market and not sell contaminated products is really a tragic joke. If this is the way you want to organize your society than why even bother having a constitutional republic?

I keep telling people there is a difference between defunding the police and de-politicizing the police. The former takes away their toys the latter takes away their mouth. Law Enforcement can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. Bureaucracies of any kind are not capable of doing more than one thing simultaneously. This is why government has so many departments and offices and gets bigger and bigger. A complex society needs a simpler system of government not one that gets higher the density of bureaucracy. Police never could multi-task. If this were not true there never would have been a silent comedy era big hit of the Keystone Cops. Police should never be unionized...a big mistake to teach them how to be politically organized...you are basically giving them the ammunition to take over government. Coups have nothing to do with the main function and purpose of police in society which is the ensure your person, property and mobility in society is safe...once they get into politics like the Generals, its over. Military Generals are another crew that should never be in the White House. They get their stars by being yes men. A “Yes Man” or “woman is the last kind of person you want in the Oval Office. Last is... if they do not have any political power their rank and file cannot become captains and chiefs or commanders without an education higher than a HS Equivalency. This weeds out the stupid people from becoming cops and there are many. All of the cops on trial for murder are the stupid cops.

Yesterday was the national memorial day for Pearl Harbor and not one media outlet mentioned it, not even the president of the US mentioned it, nobody. Second point, one of the richest utility companies on earth is to cheap to install surveillance cameras in their substations. Third point, government has relied on private industry to provide vital power to societies because private business is the model of choice. Why bother having a government if it only prints money for private industry and does nothing to assure the vital needs of a society are met?

You could not start a hardware store and compete with Tru-Value and a bank would never lend you the start up capital even if you have the collateral and credit worthiness they expect. Its all done on purpose that your government is made incompetent to give the privately owned family monopolies the power. You, on your own, at best, can become a retailer of small business, a gun retailer and then you are at the mercy of Remington, on what you can buy and charge. Competition...wake up buddy. The first problem in America is the politics. The second problem society has been barbarized with all the militarism taking over the police. Third problem is the economics. Fourth problem is the ideal life in America is destroyed. Fifth problem Abbot is using the police as an army we lose the ability to not be killed when going to the store and taking kids to the park. Sixth problem is the appointment of Generals, resulting in a succession of wasted failure operations as the war escalates verifying the army not a police force usurp the spoils and the tax fund that supports them.

“The System Failed” but why the system failed has everything to do with a system that places kids back into abusive homes because it is cheaper than placing them into a privately owned and operated residential treatment center. Kids this age are not placed into foster care. Foster parents prefer babies with the aim of adoption. Kids this age end up on some form of independent living after a residential placement that costs around $60,000 per year per child. Counties are, in turn, charged by the state and counties end up raising property taxes to offset the placement costs the State incurs providing room, board, health and educational services. This infuriates politicians who have to run on “No New Taxes” pressured by home property owners to lower property taxes. School boards cut back on regular special needs education and the families who live normal lives by all the rules suffer from a cut back in services their own special needs kids need. Thus, the whole system is a failure. When this abuse surfaces and is substantiated the State CPS system has no choice but to place them into a residential system which initiates the State to bill the county of origin for the costs incurred by the other country the kids end up for their long term care. To correct this cycle of insanity would take an act of Congress, which at the moment, is a Congress with its head up its ass about investing in early child development that would, in the long run, be more beneficial in creating healthy individuals when they grow up to be parents. The parents committing this abuse were impoverished in their own childhood and adolescence have grown up to be people who should never become parents are products of this failed social system themselves magnifying the problem as a generational crisis.

The Pound Sterling was once the reserve currency before the Dollar. Britain did not seem to take the fall of its global control over trade too hard, before the Dollar, it could not keep India down, doubtful the US can stop the growth and development of the Yuan without a bitter fight, possibly nuclear war.

The building industry will cover its own tracks using the government because the building and real estate industry is huge and politically powerful. The blame will fall on government for scheduling long durations of time between inspections to draw attention away from the cumulative trauma of toxic building materials when so frequently structures collapse.
