@EldritchEntityWithASmartphone Only a fool would believe there is an ethical way to get rich in capitalism. Bernie did not exploit the labor directly that produced his book but his book is still the object that bears a higher value than what the bookmakers in the factory are paid. His publisher is the capitalist and his book is the raw material his publisher appropriates from the workers producing the actual physical book, even if that work is automated requiring one person to press a button to make a million copies,---the book is made offshore the book re-enters circulation bearing a higher value than its own material components. His income from this book is one of many items that form the cost of production of the book for the publisher. This arrangement puts Bernie where all workers should be in relation to the object they produce,---if they got a share of the product the capitalist appropriates rather than getting a straight wage to buy a pound of preservative rich bread to carry the workers through life without dying from starvation, a mere deduction from the value the book bears a sufficient income from international markets. Barring all other factors and influences this economic law holds true for all commodities produced for sale. You would be in denial into believing a man or woman can become rich without the exploitation of human labor. There are no ethics in capitalist production and private appropriation,----you will soon learn that in the coming months when your soil, water, security, food, housing, cars, trains, planes, all become threats to human life.
