Decline is the key word that is not used to describe the US economy in the mainstream. Historic legislation reflects this decline as efforts to save a declining system appear to be too little, too late, in many cases, but how the decline is told is myth. The decline is; if US industry was at 90% industrial capacity in the past it is today at 20% capacity and in decline with a deficit of 70% under utilization on top of aging infrastructure. What is accelerating the decline in the society is the use of high interest rates domestically to slow inflation. This has the bigger effect of lowering wages and war spending abroad raises prices. In a system in decline its primary monetary and fiscal social institutions engage in policies that contradict what the economy and society needs and what people want.

  2. How do you stop someone from raising the price of their product when their are millions of buyers in the market who will pay a higher price. Problem with this scenario is that it undercuts wages and workers go on strike for high pay and the problem with higher pay is that it cuts into profits and the problem with cutting profits is job layoffs. Inflation is more closely connected to merchant sellers activity in the market. Its an interest to fetch a higher price for merchants. All merchants raise their prices walk away richer and say; I sell what the market will bear. Buyers are stupid enough or made dependent as social conditioning they shop.  @stevenmitchell5319
