  39. I am not sure pigs can revert back to becoming wild boars from which they came after 6000 years of animal husbandry and that there is not enough nature around that is not populated by humans for them to be wild and roam, they are a different animal than boars now, it appears you have no choice but to enlarge their pens and separate sows during gestation to reduce their reproduction. They are bred for sale and that is where your problem starts. Grandfather in the 1800s did not produce pork for mass consumption. So we are in territory completely different from America as the agrarian society it was when the Wizard of Oz was produced, not long ago. From a marketing point of view the price of pork will rise as the rate of conception falls. When the price of pork rises the public will seek other foods to eat and this could bring about the demise of this form of farming. It is also pretty stupid the Congress never instituted a national land reform deal to minimize the growth of large scale industrial farms like yours from becoming too big that it need to be legislated out of existence. Perhaps, diversifying your farm will make up the difference to more than one single crop will help keep your farm in your family. What will happen to the pigs if your farm goes under is likely a worse fate than where they are now. This is a huge problem because the other obstacle is finding a buyer for the farm that only a billionaire can afford and billionaires are not going to farm pigs. They will clear the land of animals for real estate developers to build more single family homes.
