  2. D.A. Pennebaker and Willard Van Dyke were great filmmakers, I was surprised to have stumbled on this video. Man, I admire those workers. I could never tolerate those heights. Pennebaker taught film at the CCNY Picker Film Institute started by Willard Van Dyke, it was a great school of around 30 students of which I was one and made two shorts to my credit. Some may know that Pennebaker made the documentary called Primary, following Hubert Humphrey’s bid for the presidency, an excellent example of the style of documentary film that kept the camera rolling till the subjects being filmed completely forgot the camera was in their presence...and what you got was authenticity. If you have not seen Primary you should, its worth watching.
