  2. As a 70 year old I knew this film was being made a year and half ago thanks to people like you (Mike Zeroh) ...normally I never pay attention to Disney or Hollywood. If a corporation can grab my attention the marketing has to be good. On the other hand, the fans are so obsessed with Indy they are themselves a marketing for the movie. Indy fans populate my home screen with their videos on whips, jackets, boots, cosplay events, critiques, etc., like there is no tomorrow its difficult to not see this activity. I am led to say; let me go see what the fuss is all about with this movie. Another aspect for the low projections might be due to a high debt/income ratio that plagues this country and an Indy film is not a necessity. Don’t forget... there is a big chance aging boomers like me will be its biggest customer for the simple reason Harrison is a boomer. I’ll take a gamble the movie will be a success. More so overseas than in America. From the trailer it does like like a movie a boomer would like. I saw Raiders on the big screen in Manhattan when it came out...that movie is a piece of film mastery. If you watch that film without sound and in black and white it is even better...Spielberg is a master at moving actors and camera...blocking film space that nearly every shot in that film is piece of artistry, so I hope, this one will be a match to Raiders. The other thing about a film is that makes it hard to judge a film is that it could end up a failure at the box office and a classic in film history like Casablanca.
