Comments by "DXR" (@MrDXRamirez) on "Climate Crisis is Even More Dire Than the New IPCC Report Says" video.
The cultural prototype Walmart and Costco American consumer are duped to a fault that climate change can be left to causality and chance with market based systems is a recurring message to this demographic. Market based systems, fancy term for buying and selling commodities. In the hands of skilled American academicians and government functionaries, language is redesigned to make something shallow seemingly more technically profound than it is, and this fib flies over everyone's heads. It works like a charm the masses are continually duped and never get the connection that industries produce for quantity. Quality is the side that impacts our natural existence and it is the side that is repressed by industry and government. This American generation has no awareness that industry is where the action is between matter (Nature) and labor (Humanity), it is the real material relationship that is forceful enough to effect climate change. This subject is censored in America so that the next generation is more market based system and private property oriented. Yet through the destruction, perhaps too late, industries emit less carbon and are modified as Durwood Zaeke is suggesting be done. But what remains the same is the culture of mass consumption industries rely on for market based systems to exist. Duped to a fault - believing that market based systems is the mechanism to correct the emissions problem is like giving the criminals the power to make laws.
