Contrary to the popular belief, aid is used to help the impoverished in foreign countries should be going to the impoverished in the US. Your assertion is premised on a competition for global dominance between US and China. The same premise the Cold War projected against the Russians. Have you not seen the world is not the same world as the 1950s?

  2. the millons going to foreign countries is actually millions going to military interventions engaged in 120 countries...its not going to those countries as you wrongly state, it goes to the US military in those countries.
