  1. Both of you are correct. The slaveholders/colonists and the American Founding Fathers in 1789 were pretty rational people. In 1791 Washington feared the Haitian revolution would spread a revolt of African American slaves the colonists possessed, and the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms was a right slaveholders wanted as a measure to preserve slavery and property. Washington punished Haiti ever since 1789 subjecting all of Latin America to the Monroe Doctrine. 235 years of oppression is a long time. Time has come the oppressor quit being an oppressor.

  3. Right, slavery first appears in all societies when they have reached a stage of having more than they need to live. Before that humans were consuming what they produced slavery appeared in the family between man and woman before it appeared in the tribe. When the tribes got larger they became communities. Slavery today appears out of scarcity of land and that is the fault of commercial projects that use land as a commodity leaves less land for people.  @elishareilly7980

  4. USA here- I love this show...nothing like here in the US.  All of us have to decide what kind of society we want? Providing unpaid labor is enslavement of the citizenry to service the corporations. This is a problem our governments have placed all the citzenry into this position, by allowing technological machine producers to develop machines that squeeze from the public bits of time from each person adds up to billions of dollars in profit from the automation to the machine makers. Totally immoral.

  5. The self-checks outs are put there to avoid hiring people by the company.  People should not use them unless they want machines to replace a job a person can do.
