Breakthrough infections in the vaccinated tended to be tissue-restricted, usually only detectable in saliva samples and not the nasal cavity. The usual method of utilizing nasal swabs for routine testing may cause an underestimation of the number of infected amongst the vaccinated.”

  23. @tremper tremper, Listen to @Mo Sabri. He’s 100% correct. That study you’re referring to shows that the vaccinated “can” have the same viral load “if” they get sick. You’re ignoring the fact that fewer of the vaccinated get sick, and those who do, are less sick, and for a shorter duration. Therefore fewer of them become contagious, and when they do, they’re contagious for a shorter duration.

  29.  @Ataraxia_Atom , The study you are referring to says that if someone who’s vaccinated gets sick then they can shed just as many viral particles as someone who is not vaccinated. You’re neglecting that because the vaccines are around 90% effective, 90% fewer get sick, so 90% fewer shed viral particles. You’re also neglecting that the viral particles that the vaccinated do shed (if they get sick) are covered with antibodies which renders them unable to infect others. Instead of being a sheep who runs around repeating everything your antivaxxer cult leaders tell you, you should learn how to do your own research and understand things and think for yourself. Stop being a sheep bro!!!
