If the manufacturers like John Deere, Apple, and others would sell parts and software to everyone at a reasonable price, then this wouldn't be an issue. In other words, these laws are required due to their actions, not the consumer's actions. Customers, dealers, and manufacturers should work together on the issue rather than invite government regulations that could add costs with no associated value."
