@pocobull , They’ve had over 6 months to build POW camps. 3 months if they started when they first trapped 25,000 of Russia’s best troops in and around Kherson.

@pocobull , Ukraine has been having problems exporting food. That means they have too much food, not too little. They’ll have absolutely no problem feeding 25,000 more prisoners.

@pocobull , Ukraine has plenty of food. Their problem is delivering it to the world, not feeding themselves. Have you not been paying attention or something?

@pocobull , They trade them so quickly because Russia has a whole bunch of Ukrainian POWs and it makes sense to free them from captivity as quickly as possible. Russia has even taken Ukrainian civilians and made them into POWs, so they have several tens of thousands of them. It has absolutely nothing to do with food. Ukraine isn’t experiencing a food shortage. In fact, they have too much food. Apparently enough to feed 20% of the world or something. That’s why Russia’s blockade of the Black Sea was such a big deal.
