  5. This wasn’t the problem. The problem was mismanagement and corruption. Everyone was supposed to be equal, but they weren’t. The higher ups were stealing from the state and getting away with it. If you made your home nice, a higher up would take it from you and put you in a chit hole. This could have been solved, but the problem was the people on charge. They obviously didn’t want to fix it.

If they’re trashing the place I’ll raise the rent as much as possible until they leave, or I’ll kick them out and find someone who doesn’t trash the place. So those landlords who are kicking out good tenants for fixing up their house aren’t very smart.

  17.  @vladyslavkarpenko9372 , If the Communist government actually wants to solve the problem, if they decided to move you to another house, they could always decide to move you to another house of similar condition as your existing house. So if you currently live in a dumb because you didn’t maintain it, they can move you into a dumb. However if you made your home very nice, they could move you into a similarly nice home. They didn’t do this because they obviously weren’t concerned with solving this problem.
