@Cxeb , ChatGPT is like an advanced programming assistant that can provide you with short sections of code with explanations allowing you to develop applications significantly faster. I’ve been using it the past few days to create simple web demos. I don’t know CSS or the JavaScript libraries at all. I’m a C programmer. This thing can give me code that’s extremely close to what I ask for in a few minutes that I can then easily fix it to do exactly what I want in minutes to hours depending on what I want to do. For each demo it saves me days of figuring out which functions to use. I can easily figure out the code part. JavaScript is easy. All the property names and function names take a long time to learn. Now I don’t have to learn them.

@shaunatkinson124 , ChatGPT is great at shell scripts and awk too. I’m learning some new tricks, even when the code it comes up with is wrong. It’s still valid code, but it doesn’t always do what you asked for.

@Cxeb , Right. Even if it comes up with wrong code, it gives you an example of how to use all the functions. And sometimes you can describe the behavior of the wrong code and explain what it should do, and it can fix the code to make it work. I’m sure they’re using everything we’re doing to collect training data so this will improve in the future.
