Poland could easily liberate Belarus from Lukashenko on their own. Putin wouldn’t be able to do chit about it.

@nian60 , Do you know the population of Belarus? Do you know the population of Poland? Do you know the size of their respective militaries? Poland obviously doesn’t need any help. All they have to do is focus only on military targets. The locals will likely help them eliminate and resistance. Then the rightful elected Belarusian government can take over.

@foxquetzal420 , I totally agree. They should have taken out that bridge, and all the bridges to the north of Crimea. And also the locks in the dam for the reservoir that supplies Crimea with water. Immediately after, they need to take out all of Russia’s black sea naval presence The west needs to supply Ukraine with all the tools required to accomplish this.

@tomk3732 , If Russia uses nukes regardless of why the United States and NATO will strike back. They are not obligated by NATO to help Poland invade Belarus, but they are obliged to help Poland if Russia attacks or nukes Poland. Nukes would be Russia’s only option to help Belarus defend against a liberation from Lukanhesko’s dictatorship by Poland because they don’t have any other military resources to offer any other help. But because the United States and NATO would get involved, Putin would not nuke Poland to defend Belarus.

@anno-fw7xn , Russia can’t afford WW3. They can barely afford Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. He’s already begged the other members to help him with his invasion, and they refuses. If anyone invaded Belarus, I doubt that the other members would honor their agreement. The only reason they joined in the first place is because they believed it would protected them from an invasion by Russia. The west has never been a threat to any of those countries. But kissing Putin’s arse helps keep them on Putin’s good side. Besides, vast majority of Belarusians dislike Lukanhesko and would therefore welcome being liberated from that corrupt tyrant.

@nian60 , I believe that the war dragging on is exactly what the west wants. The longer they can keep Russia fighting, the more the west gets to demilitarize Russia and destroy Russia’s economy. If Ukraine overwhelms Russia too fast, Russia will give up and withdraw before they are demilitarized. Then they will rebuild and try again later. The west wants Ukraine to completely destroy Russia so this never happens again.

@cambs0181 , It would be easy for Poland to conquer Belarus all by themselves.

@Gopferteckel , Problems for Belarus happened from within right after Russia installed Lukashenko. Unfortunately the police were able to stop the revolution.
