  4. Nicholas A., 90's? I think you mean 80's. But anyway, if the price of gas goes down to 96 cents per gallon, that will increase demand for gas cars, because they will become cheaper to drive than electric vehicles. Also, if oil becomes that cheap, we'll start using it to generate electricity because it will become cheaper than solar. Unless the government intervenes with carbon taxes to make oil and gas more expensive, it will delay the switch from oil to renewables.

  5. The solution is simple. Charge a fine for each leaking well, and offer a reward for people who locate and report them.
