For example, If you had a car, and the widow cracked, if the manufacture refused to sell you a new windows and insisted that you buy a new car, you would be biased too. And then, if you took it to a repair shop, and they replaced the window with a non OEM knockoff, the manufacture sues them for doing so.

  9.  @sgas , Actually I’ve noticed that older people forget new things, which causes them to revert back to their older memories. It’s like they’ve lost the ability to form new long term memories. Their short term memory is fine, but a month later it’s gone. When I was a kid, not only did I remember everything I was told, but also who told me. The who told me part is now gone, and I no longer remember everything. This is likely a normal consequence of aging. You’re expected to learn everything you need to know when you’re young, then rely on that knowledge for the rest of your life.

  16. Once everyone has had a chance to get vaccinated, who cares about those who don’t want to? However, their health insurance should be allowed to charge them extra for coverage of Covid treatments if they get out, and they should have to pay for their own monoclonal antibodies. Those of us who are smart enough to get vaccinated should not have to supplement the healthcare costs caused by those who aren’t. Also, if the ICU beds fill up, they should have the lowest priority.

  19. +Social Experiment Gaming, A class action lawsuit is not what we want. We would all be better off suing Apple independently one by one in small claims court. A class action lawsuit protects Apple by reducing their cost of fighting. When everyone sues independently, Apple has to defend every one of those lawsuits. That is very expensive, and they could lose many of them. It is much cheaper and efficient for Apple to combine all the lawsuits into one, then spend tons of money to defend that one lawsuit so that they're guaranteed to win. Or, they'll settle for something lame that is in their best interest, not the consumer's. I don't understand why people think they could get together and form a class action. If YOU have a reason to sue, then file your claim in small claims court and sue. Who knows, you might actually win.

  24. How does letting stolen phones to be resold increase sales when the market getting flooded with stolen phones decreases the value of used phones? If stolen phones are flooding the market making use phones cheaper, more people will choose to buy a used phone instead of a new one. By bricking stolen phones, Apple would be decreasing the supply of used phones, which would increase the price of used phones increasing the sales of new phones.

  33. @Alex Key, there’s no way to determine whether the delta variant is more or less lethal because those who are at the greatest risk have mostly been vaccinated. In the UK about 95% of those over 50 have been vaccinated. Those under 50 were less likely to die from the original variant, and it’s the same with the new variant. At this point, it’s the long term effect of the delta variant, and the possibility of it mutating more that are of concern.
