And any business started will take years and years to be going concerns so the so called trickle down effect ( which doesn't actually happen ) would be 5 years or more in the future, right now is the time for measures, right now is the shortage of money for food and heating, she and her peers are OK they can afford to wait, even for non existent investment, they are buffered by already being millionaires many times over, but even without the millions, 80 grand a year salary and a 150 grand expense account is a nice barrier against starving and freezing, not to mention second home allowences in London which they then rent out at a 1000 a week in some places, they are pissing down our backs, telling us its raining and selling us umbrellas at fantasy prices. If you needed that explained then you maybe shouldn't be on a site with grown up subjects.

My deepest sympathies to Scotland for the totally unexpected and unusual and hazardous plunge into danger, from the fact snow might fall in Scotia in January, as January is well known for being the most mildest and temperat of months, l think the government should step in and hold an inquiry into why snow is falling in January ANYWHERE IN THE UK let alone Scotland, yes we know Scotlands the driest warmest part of the UK and SNOW there is so rare it gets a special mention but l live in the north east about 40 miles from the border on the coast and want to know is the unthinkable about to happen ARE WE TOO GOING TO BE LAID UNDER A TOTALLY UNEXPECTED FALL OF SNOW ?   41. 1998 coming back from Alicante to Manchester airport...was 50 mins from home, the plane just dropped what seemed for ages then bang stop, again, stop, drop, it was really bad there were a group of people praying together. The pilots voice came over the intercom he sounded worried which is unusual as they normally use such a laid back casual voice,, he announced we had hit some unexpected turbulence.. No kidding...and it was quite rougher than he had experienced before, hand we must buckle up our seat belts asap. It seemed to go on for ages, l watched the flight attendants huddling together faces strained, and because they actually showed so much concern it worried me even more ,at last it stopped and as l departed the airport l made a vow never to fly again and so far l havent, l know the safety statistics on flying all make it the best safest way to travel, but l considered that turbulence a warning that l have paid heed to. 😊

I do believe sometime in the future a long way into it possibly, that these sentances will be found unsafe, and how many breaches of law and human rights took place in the rushing through of the court cases will be revealed to a shocked public. I am in no way defending the actions of the rioters but am concerned at the politically motivated pressures brought to bear on those in the judical system.

When you take money out of the system it shrinks the economy, we need people spending and spending, the best thing any Government could do is start a programme of 2 million council homes building, first off more work as the houses are built so more work too to the materials makers and sellers, then when completed, sales of everything are needed, from furniture to toilet rolls, a massive amount would be spent, then weekly afterwards on food, and power. It's fool proof a gaurenteed sustainable for years and years.

Stop trying to catch me out with costing to make yourself sound clever you're not you're just exercising your negativity, if you don't have the wit too work out how it could be done then go to night classes.   55.  @bengardener8928  You don't seem to grasp that something has to be done, on such a scale social housing would bring so much with it and as usual when goods bought in so much bulk they would be cheaper all the aspects benefits everyone, homes for everyone with capped rents, not private housing but back to good council housing with councils picking up the benefits of rents on going, and council taxes, plus the work will employ lots of staff over years re ignite skills that are being lost, the fact is moneys going to have to be spent somewhere despite pledges of not doing so, as the country's will not tolerate austerity again for howsoever long they plan it for, they will be ousted wether they give in or not now there's no coming back from such a lead in 18 months especially with further horror show policies, people are going to stop thinking with their minds and their emotions are going to be played on and will demand an force an end to further cuts and lack of spending so more good will be done by providing the homes needed, and the prosperity from them which includes sales of everything needed In modern life, better than stagnating in austerity which did not work anyway as neither does trickle down economics, housed people will make for a better country than one without, plus alternative energy supplies will benefit from more money invested from 2 MILLION HOMES , but you will always find negativity in anything like the torys which is why they are so unpopular, we already had 12 years of wonderful austerity by the fantastically fiscally able tories, how did that work out, plus there's always billions for weapons to Ukraine in EUROPE which we voted to LEAVE TO THEIR OWN DOINGS. There's plenty of other countries around it let them share the burden as they're more likely to be affected first.
