Calm down and I'll tell you why, pro football has become a huge commercial weight around its own neck, top class footballers deliberately playing poorly so they can be released from contracts theyve extracted the best from and want to leave to milk another team. Plus at the end of the day whats it all about they're not really your local team when they come from all over the world are they? The clubs with the most cash can put together the best teams in theory but can you say as a lad from whichever that this French player or German goalie is a typical product of your area ? No, but a local amateur team or even the womens football are playing the best game they can brcause they want their team to win and they want their fans to be able to say my teams bloody good and so are we.

Or to have old fashioned entrenched ideas learned from our parents, I'm 67 have learned more n more how our parents views were set in stone by their victorian / Edwardian born parents, prejudices run deep, but they are for older times, times now whether we like it or not are vastly different to our youths, forums like this ebcourage discussion in a away not possible to me in my teens and early formative years, l had certainly different ideas then based around what l learned from older generations, but now l think more liberally, but along with that there's common sense and remembering that indeed a spade is still a spade, despite someone giving it the title of Earth or substance removing or replacing blade ended handled implement
