My great uncle used Bricks currency in the 50s and 60s, he would hurl one thru a jewellers shop window grab a handful of watches and rings and live on the currency he got from selling them. When he wanted to get married his fiance told him she wanted a fur coat so he threw a brick thru a Furriers window and got her one then she wanted expensive handbag to go with it he threw another brick thru a top store window and got one, the same with an engagement ring, then they were passing a bridal boutique she saw a bridal gown in the window she said I'd love that darling he said " do you think I'm made of bricks ?" 😂
