  1. The money comes out of different budgets. It's not Ukraine's fault that so many English children are homeless - and we'd all be in a much, much worse situation if russia was allowed to take over Ukraine.

  4.  @JesusisaMuslim  The UK has indeed got itself things it couldn't afford - Brexit, for example - but they wouldn't be pledging this aid if they couldn't afford it. It's not even aid, it's defense: Ukrainians are literally defending us.
