  1. Hearing Israel express concern for civilian casualties in Ukraine makes me as sick as hearing russian officials express concern for civilian casualties in Gaza... I don't blame Ukraine accepting any help it can get, and it's always a good idea to separate russia from more of its allies (and from the countries that have stayed on the fence about this war just to keep putin sweet). But Israel is committing genocide and they know it. I walk around with both Ukraine and Palestine badges very visible on my bag or coat, not just at demos but everywhere, and many people respond positively to seeing them together - or at least try to have a reasonable conversation. Good to see Serhyi remain realistic about Israel, and clearly not expressing respect for them. My blood is boiling about what's happening in Ukraine and in Palestine and how ineffectual our politicians are in dealing with any of it. I feel like making a placard that just says "GENOCIDE IS BAD" and taking it to demostrations, whatever they're for 🤬
