  2.  @cherryred8265  I also cook from scratch most of the time and it makes a huge difference - though you're right, for all the price rises of the past few years we're still doing so much better in the UK than in other countries. The problem is (apart from trump's tariffs) that so many people have been raised on the sort of processed pre-packaged food seen in this video, it's what they've been buying and eating since they left home and now they don't know how to cook with fresh food, they don't know how to shop, they're not sure how long things will last and this is a change that's even harder to make when you're suddenly desperate to save money. And of course there are people like that in every developed country in the world, but I have a feeling that the US may have the most on average.

  3. Hi, new subscriber here from the UK, thank you for your content. I can't boycott Target, but been boycotting Amazon for years and have now stepped up by not shopping at Wholefoods anymore (thanks to someone in one of your comment sections who reminded me that Wholefoods=Bezos). Thank you also for ending the video with that conversation about supporting Ukraine... I hope that can be turned into a standalone clip that can be posted everywhere! Congratulations to the young man getting his point across so well, and also to the old maga guy who was brave enough to listen and admit that those words were making him see things in a different light.

I do appreciate your channel Jay, but I must admit that as I watch this, my blood is boiling on behalf of all the people across the world who also feel this way about their own countries, but have horrifying experiences and in some cases lose everything they worked for and even their lives, just trying to do what the folks in this video are planning to do. Not a single one of these Americans is expressing the slightest anxiety about how they're going to reach their desired country, and whether they'll be able to stay there and make a decent life for themselves. Some acknowledgement of this immense privilege would have been nice to hear.

I follow a number of Ukrainian counterpropagandists, and in their videos they often show clips from russian social media.... so many clips of people addressing putin: "Vladimir Vladimirovych, we are freezing / hungry / there's no water / no gas / our pipes are bursting and everything is frozen over / our men are dying / etc. etc." and the only noticeable difference is that russians tend to make these video appeals in groups, while these suffering maga voters record alone. The basic attitude is exactly the same. And that's no compliment, USA, just in case that wasn't clear.
