@csabatoth7205 Are you referring to the time when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, and Ukrainians had no choice in the matter?
2
You really couldn't have just posted something supportive of Ukraine without attaching a racist comment to it ...?
2
@nivek5031 I have a problem with the context in which it was used, in the above comment - that's what makes it racist in my opinion. When posting that below a video showing examples of genuinely admirable Ukrainian resistance to a genocidal war, the subtext is that Africans are not, and have not throughout their history, been resilient. Whenever an assumption is made about someone's lack of resilience, the way is paved for blaming them for their own problems and dismiss their complaints, demands, and interpretations of their reality as "whining" from people who just won't try hard enough.
2
@BenjaminVestergaard Those who make a planned surrender with equipment get money and protection from the Ukrainian government. Those who are captured on the battlefield all get treated the same, as they should, and that's much much better than the treatment they get while serving in the russian army. And considering how they do get treated in the POW camps, what would even constitute "better" treatment? And wouldn't that be against the Geneva Convention?
2
You posted the same message above, where someone put you straight, so you're reposting here as well 🙄 Ukraine may well be waiting to have everyone on side and as much gear as possible at their disposal, before they go in for something big on rf territory.
2
@paulking7019 There's no covering up the fact that you spontaneously posted the same comment more than once in the same comment section, which is unmistakeable troll - or sad weirdo - behaviour. But yes, I'm sure your grown-up attention has shifted to more important things 😂
2
What makes them "trolls"? Are they lying? If it's true, and not presented in a distorted way, then it's not trolling, it's information
2
@NikiPetrovAtanasov What utter, utter BS. Not even worth debunking
2
and they're only the second army in Ukraine since they managed to suppress wagner...
2
I remember watching the people of Kherson celebrate after the orcs were driven out, and some of those people have since been murdered... the thought literally chills the blood in my veins. And I knew at the time, as I watched that footage, that they must have been aware of that possibility - but still, they were out there, rejoicing in their liberation. Words always fail me when I try to express my respect for the Ukrainian people. Смерть ворогам! Україна назавжди 🇺🇦
2
I've only ever this YT account... and I only started commenting in the spring of 2022. I'm a never-tweeter! And I'm happier about that with every day that goes by.
2
@eyaklen4804 That has - tragically - been going on for a long time, and would still go on even if Western countries weren't sending military aid to Ukraine. At least all this disgusting gear will finally be used for something useful.
2
@eddastrohmayer251 You know - allowing Ukraine to regain its lost territories and defeat russia once and for all. Something useful to the world, instead of something that ended up damaging the world, like the wars in the Middle East (just one of many examples). Btw I've seen enough messages from this handle to know I'm replying to a troll account here - that's something I do when it gives me the opportunity to say something I think needs to be said.
2
@eddastrohmayer251 Ukraine is a sovereign country, it can do whatever its citizens want. And russia is in no position to tell other countries what to do with themselves. In this context, "neutrality" is like giving in to the abusive ex who says "Never go out with anyone else and I'll stop setting your house on fire and planting bombs under your car". So... no.
2
And all the rest
2
It's called "information"
2
@MKD-fe5vf Yup. It's just a really long list and I was typing in a hurry earlier
2
@SaiKiran-fd3gq That was offensive on a number of levels in a very concise way, well done
2
@markusbalbach7608 You're right. I mean, there are Ukrainian civilians including children assembling drones in their homes on a voluntary basis, but Ukraine is supposed to be the "weak smaller country" in this equation. The fact that the rf is resorting to that kind of thing - as well as buying weapons from north korea - speaks louder than all their propaganda put together.
2
A peace summit with the rf would be even more BS, though.
2
@nezlamnyy Or maybe all those millions "who still care" can be more proactive...? More subtitling - well done - less patronising.
2
@NightRider2023-f1j Ah yes, once you realise that no one's buying your disinformation, there's always whataboutism. Just so we're clear: 1) it was not a church (I know this from the video, did you watch it?) and 2) this video, and this comment section, is about Ukraine's effort to decolonise its heritage from russian interference and oppression. There's no need to bring up the English-speaking world in every single discussion that ever takes place.
1
@mpakakas3518 America had nothing to do with the Revolution of Dignity, that's purely russian propaganda
1
They're greedy and insensitive because they're fighting for their lives? Any country getting fed up with Ukraine asking for things and putting themselves first should start by not indulging putin in any way, and consistently denouncing his genocidal war. Nothing less will cut it.
1
@odonovan Even after all this time, part of me is still in shock that rf UN membership was even allowed to happen... and that it's been allowed to carry on in spite of the rf's blatant abuse of that position. I have lost all trust and respect for the UN.
1
@keithmearing949 He was coming back from the frontline when he was recording this video - he went to about 2km from the zero line and was well within reach of russian drones.
1
Yup
1
@ayoungethan Thank you, you put this better than I would have. Though now I want to ask a native speaker whether the Ukrainian word for "rear" also doubles up as "butt" - if it doesn't, there's no way the double entendre could have been anticipated. Or maybe they're smarter than all of us put together, and were really having a dig at Greg Wallace...? 😂💙💛
1
While you will be remembered as one of the many cockroaches rooting for putin
1
@fasthighwaydriver59732 Україна назавжди! 💙💛
1
@leemisiak2955 putin's doing really badly if he's having to resort to lazy repetitive trolls like you
1
@leemisiak2955 Mm yes, "lazy" is the first word anyone in the world thinks of when they think of Ukraine... 😆
1
Seriously, how do you know god's will? And are you aware of how it's been used, again and again, to justify anything from mass slaughter to torture to slavery?? The rest of your comment I agree with.
1
Probably, but due to climate change, and certainly not at the hands of a country run by a demented mafia cartel currently enlisting mercenaries for third world country who resort to fighting off Ukrainian drones with sticks because they're so untrained and underresourced.
1
Ukrainians are in fact getting back piece after piece of their country, and they're not resting
1
@rugosetexture2716 Now they just need to take back Musk
1
@princemichael4708 If Ukraine had not been a nation long before 1991, it would not have become a country in 1991
1
@dooboo5672 massive balls = turning down protection to stay with his country and his people after becoming the number 1 target of the biggest psycho gangster in the world. You do realise that nobody's buying the whole "Ukraine being manipulated by the West in proxy war against russia" schtick... because it's obvious to everyone with half a brain that western powers didn't want war with russia - that's how putin' was able to get away with so much nastiness up until last year, and that's why Zelensky's having to insist so much to get the military aid his country needs and deserves
1
@Akhil24kumar445 Thank you for the great demonstration of what "word salad" means
1
@ankitsinghvishen1000 ????
1
Permanently! trump & co. already making noises about revoking permission 🤬
1
@СергейВикторович-ц9х And over 2 and a half years ago, putin's propagandists were saying "Kyiv in three days"
1
I see your reasoning and if that turns out to be the case I agree, but I'd like Ukrainian inspectors to be allowed on site and the evidence they say they have to be given the same weight as all other evidence gathered so far. Maybe that's happened in the last 24 hours, I've been travelling so I may not be as up to date as usual with these news. But to make that announcement over their heads is a return to the (quite recent) days of 'Western powers' talking to Putin without consulting Ukraine, as if the whole country was a teenage runaway or something. 🤬 🇺🇦 ❤
1
Great to see putin's trolls out en masse under this video... I use the frequency of your disgusting comments as an indicator of how relevant the content is
1
@meso8848 most importantly, we can see what you're doing... you're trolling for putin. I recognise your account. You must be on shift at the troll farm
1
@kukulroukul4698 Don't worry... you will 🙂
1
@Xiiiiky2H Jewish people weren't actively committing genocide in a neighbouring country at the time, nor were they openly planning to invade a number of other neighbouring countries in the near future
1
Literally everyone knows this bs was fabricated by putin's troll farms. Try harder
1
@dannythomson5239 russia's demise will be a sorry sight over the course of this year and beyond - but watching its trolls squirm is kind of entertaining. Слава Україні 💙💛 (btw I never click on links I get from strangers, so not very likely to click on one posted by one of putin's trolls)
1
@dannythomson5239 🤣 evidence 🤣
