As far as I understand (from where I live in the UK, admittedly), far too many Americans don't have a house, either... but nor do they have to live under constant fear of shelling and invasion by genocidal forces. That's where the real difference lies, I think. By the way, Ukrainians have been experiencing all sorts of microaggressions from russians, alongside the macroaggressions like invasion and starvation. Microaggressions need to be identified and called out, they're always the sign of something bigger.
