@Thetequilashooter1 Sadly there have been instances of Ukrainian men being taken quite roughly off the streets by military recruitment guys... and when these events are captured on video they spread far and wide - which on the one hand feeds trolls like the one above, but is also important for accountability, and for challenging innhumane practices when they do occur. Crucially, I know about this from Ukrainian sources, and I've heard several people freely speak up against it recently, including the very well know and super popular Serhyi Prytula. As for non-Ukrainians in Ukraine, I believe the only one who are serving are volunteers - I've heard nothing about foreigners being press-ganged into the Ukrainian army, and I've been paying attention.

@fabb5 No, it's not - it's a very appropriate analogy with the fictional beings in LOTR. If the military and their supporters don't like being called "orcs", they should stop behaving exactly like them. Referring to those committing, supporting or excusing genocide as "orcs" also allows for the fact that there may actual russians who are not... like that. "russian supremacists" is also a phrase I've seen Ukrainians use, and I've used it myself at times, but "orc" is shorter. Also, this is a troll account, whose comments I see a lot under Ukraine-related videos - I only replied because the comment gave me the opportunity to say something worth saying. You know, for anyone who may read this thread who's not an orc troll.
