@eenigheid3186 THANK YOU! I liked your comment but had to go back to it because a like was not enough. I'm sick of the 'freeloading/begging Ukrainians' subtext to so many of these comments. It's not our cities getting bombed to dust, not our young people coming back in boxes (unless they had made a free, informed decision to go and fight in Ukraine). Not to mention that some of these funds will come from frozen russian assets, once our various governments finish working out how to turn those into cash. And any future incarnation of the russian federation will have to pay for the rest, if they ever want a shot at being considered fully human again. @LisaNH934 Absolutely. I'm not against censorship, sometimes it is by far the best option. Other times, I find that reading vile/clueless comments along with the articulate replies of sane people who take the time, helps me to navigate unpleasant conversations on the same topic irl. So when I feel clear-headed enough about something, and I have the energy, I try to put my thoughts into words for others to make up their mind.💙💛
