  2. John C Smith demonstrating his fundamental inability to read maps, which he shares with putin and everyone who supports him. Or maybe the problem lies in the concept of ownership: I imagine that if a masked gang of robbers ever breaks down John's front door and sets up in his house, maiming or murdering some of his family members and telling the survivors that the house has in fact always belonged to the robbers and the family living in it are not who they've always thought they were... I imagine that John will just make them a cup of tea and leave them to settle in.
