  2. Timothy Snyder has said repeatedly in lectures and interviews that the best thing that could happen to the russian people is a total, inescapable, resounding defeat at the hands of Ukraine. And I absolutely agree. Btw anyone who comes across this comment and doesn't know who Timothy Snyder is, look him up on YT - the way he talks about history is something else!
