That's a very good point - I recommend emailing the channel about it, because they may not get through the whole comment section, they must be so busy

@jaimerocha4791 You're welcome! It's really important, and particularly close to my heart because earlier this year I was lucky to meet the wonderful Ukrainian writer Viktoria Amelina, who died of injuries sustained in the missile attack on that pizzeria in Kramatorsk at the end of June 😢She was having dinner with a delegation of writers and journalists from Latin America, and together they were working on cultural strategies to counter russian propaganda among Latin American communities. Good luck and thank you for standing with Ukraine 💙💛

@jaimerocha4791 I wasn't there! I'd met her in London, where I live, about two months before she was killed in that missile attack. I doubt anything came of that meeting, considering the Ukrainian contact was killed 😥 The Latin American guests survived with minor injuries, however, so I imagine it must be possible to contact them. I don't remember their names, but I'm sure at least one of them was named in full in BBC reports of that attack.

@jaimerocha4791 I must admit that I cheated 😂 My other language is Italian (learning Ukrainian but in the early stages). Posting a Ukrainian patriotic motto in Spanish seemed fitting to our conversation. Do let me know if you have any success contacting any of these people, or the channel about Spanish-language broadcasts. All the best 😊

@jaimerocha4791 I keep meaning to put some effort into making my Italian as good as my English, which is by far my best language... I was in Spain a few months ago for the first time in my life and before I go back, I will definitely do a few weeks of Spanish for beginners because that level is probably within my reach. I want to learn Ukrainian really well, though, and it's a pretty steep climb, so most of my language work needs to go into that 🙂

I share the sentiment, but I strongly believe that no one has the right to do what russia's been doing in Ukraine. Also, I hope to see those weapons used to target and destroy military equipment and associated facilities, and to "encourage" a steady exodus of russians and collaborators from the occupied territories.

No, that really wouldn't help. And believe me, I am raging about what russia's been doing in Ukraine and is intending to do to other countries if it ever gets the chance... but no
