  1.  @pineapple9863  I don't think he's a bad guy - and I don't like the thought of him languishing in prison for the rest of his days - but he's far from the saviour he's often portrayed to be. Also, russians should aim higher, and the whole world wish for more, than "better than putin": that bar is way too low. It will take a team of brave, capable, sound and committed individuals to sort out the deep deep mess in that country

Supporting Ukraine and denouncing russia does not equal glossing over the many deep flaws and historic wrongs of European and North American countries - unfortunately, whether intended or now, posting this kind of comment under this kind of video only serves to amplify putin's propaganda. Besides, while with no more context what you mention sounds really bad, it's far from the most awful thing taking place in the US: widespread racist policing, appalling prison system and several states currently engaged in rewriting history and erasing human rights for vast sections of the population come to mind.
