@WrathOfImperium You do know that not everyone in the world has combat training and experience...? And that the Ukrainian Armed Forces specifically asked that any foreign volunteers come with both, because they have too much on their hands to also be training foreigners.

Congratulations, you post a troll-trap! 🤣 I personally don't bother with anyone claiming to be "unbiased" about this war, I find that those people more or less work as "sockpuppet" Z trolls (whether or not they get paid for it). I do home in on people who are well-informed, good communicators and not afraid of criticizing Ukraine in a constructive way, and Starsky is definitely on that list. 💙💛

@norbertdapunt5092 Hahaha well said! I 100% agree.

It's also insane how many bot accounts they have! The one below is a new one, at least to me.

@brentjamescollins9731 Well said. Old bot account, that one, I've been seeing it for years.

@StarskyUA I'm grateful for this thread because I'm in the same quandary: I don't think I have any skills that would be useful in Ukraine at the moment (I can't even drive!), and as much as I want to visit, I wouldn't want to potentially be a burden if I do get caught up in an emergency. Ukrainian first responders risk a double tap every time they go out after a rocket attack, I don't want anyone to risk their lives to pull me out of the rubble! I honestly feel that Ukrainians are already risking - some of them, giving - their lives so that war doesn't reach me and my loved ones in western Europe. On the other hand, friends have invited me to join them next time they go home, and I do know that many Ukrainians really appreciate foreign visitors to their country at this time. I'm still weighing all this up.

@VictorBonello Also, the "what for?" part of that troll comment is easy to answer: if Ukraine had not resisted in *2014*, let alone 2022, they would no longer be functioning as a state nor exist as a nation. They are literally fighting for their own existence.

@WrathOfImperium The Brits can afford to train new Ukrainian recruits, because the UK is not at war. They wouldn't be training their own citizens to fight in Ukraine, because that would contradict government advice not to travel to a war zone. So the only foreigners who are going to be fighting in Ukraine, for Ukraine, are those with prior combat training and experience, which is something not everyone can acquire. There are many other things that people who don't have the opportunity and/or capacity to go and fight can still do to support Ukraine. And many people are doing those things. Starsky is actually very appreciative of all of it, it's a point he's made several times. Now stop trolling, that is clearly what you're doing and it's an ugly thing for anyone to do.
