@stevemcgowen I heard the great Victoriia Amelina* say in an interview that the problem with russians is not that they're inhuman, but that they are human. She was right. I'll never forget those words. *(Ukrainian writer who was tragically killed in the missile attack on the pizzeria in Kramatorsk in the summer)

@stevemcgowen I agree with you on that... but forgetting our own humanity is, tragically, a human trait - and it will rear its ugly head unless we keep stomping on it. The thing that horrifies me the most about the orcs is that they are human... and, as you say, as a population they have no concept of what that means 😱
