@fivemonths-w2f We know what genocide means, we know what apartheid means - Israel has been committing both in Palestine for decades and the US has been complicit in this. Biden is just the latest in a long line of US presidents who had the chance to make a difference, and chose not to.

@matthewmcdermit8744 Hamas - which I do not for minute wish to see at the head of a future Palestinian state - is undeniably a direct product of decades of apartheid and genocide, perpetrated against the Palestinian people by Israel and facilitated -and funded! - by many powerful countries including of course the US. Not to mention the fact that the zionists in charge of Israel allowed Hamas to grow more powerful in a deliberate game of divide and rule: the West Bank is strongly against Hamas, and the zionist strategy has been to keep them at war with each other to prevent any progress on a two-state solution. And we can all see how that paid off.

@fairamir1 Why should Palestinians leave their land? For the same reason why Ukrainians should just give up on the territories occupied by russia over the past ten years? If putin ever invades Alaska, should Alaskans just move out?

@fairamir1 Thank you, yes, exactly the same argument that putin keeps hammering on... Crimea was a "gift" to Ukraine, Alaska was a "gift" to the US, blah blah... Besides, I doubt Israel "gave" any land to anyone, and whatever happened, happened about two millennia in the past. We can't keep having wars based on events from centuries ago (or, as is often the case, some genocidal dictator's interpretation of events from centuries ago). Israel is a terrorist state. They're committing genocide. Palestinians have been treated like subhumans, *on their own land*, for decades. And plenty of Jewish people all over the world will tell you that Israel doesn't make them safer - it puts them in danger.

@fairamir1 Palestine ehas existed all this time as a nation, and will continue to exist. And unless it becomes a state once more, this war will never end.

@fairamir1 Palestine is a nation and does exist. As a state, unfortunately it doesn't, and as I said, there will be no end to this war until a Palestinian state comes back into existence and is left in peace by its genocidal neighbour.
