Over the past couple of days I have come across several comments under Ukraine-related videos, by Slovenians expressing gratitude and admiration for the timely, skilled support provided by Ukraine even though these rescuers have their work cut out at home. To use skills gained in the worst possible circumstances to help others at a time of crisis truly is a beautiful thing. Ukraine is a great country, and most Europeans appreciate you and understand how lucky we are to share a continent with you 💙💛

Hopefully you're doing that yourself, because I don't think that a raving angry message under a Ukrainian-language news video about the floods in Slovenia will reach many people in Hawaii
