And she knew, not because someone "passed her the answers in advance" but because it's a presidential debate, certain topics always need to be covered, plus she and her team have been paying attention to 1) the news cycle, 2) what Americans have been saying they wanted to hear the candidates talk about, and 3) the endless stream of nonsense that's been coming out of trump and his maga associates.

  14. I find it hard to stay calm when I hear one of these people say they voted for him in the past... I keep having to remind myself that they are literally breaking out of a cult. I think that's the only way to be constructive about this while retaining our sanity. But they should definitely be taking responsibility, and find a practical way to atone to the world (the damage goes so far beyond the US) for feeding the maga monster.

  20. I haven't watched it yet - not sure how, I'm in the UK... I'm hoping the BBC will show it at some point - but I'll start by watching the interview she did with him 4 years ago. I am impressed and honestly touched by how respectfully she speaks of Ukraine in the interviews she's done about this documentary: she says that he's Ukrainian, involved in russian organised crime, and that the US committed a crime against Ukraine. Language is important, and Rachel certainly knows how to use it, but she is also an outstanding human who is determined to use her skills and position to make the world better 👏 As Ukrainians say, Низький уклін Вам (an expression of deep respect which translates literally as "A low bow to you") 💙💛
