But he has been associating very closely with someone who has publicly said that - Laura whatshername, the 9-11 conspiracy theorist he took to the 9-11 memorial event. He praises her lavishly and has most definitely not pulled her up on her claim that certain groups of migrants are engaging in cannibalism.

The insanity in this thread alone rivals anything I've read from MAGA supporters and even kremlin trolls (and there's a LOT of overlap between those two categories). RFK Jr played his carts right: he cultivated his toxic little cult until the moment came to offer it to trump. Both from a political and personal standpoint, it makes perfect sense to me that his closest relatives have gone no contact with him and are denouncing him: they are literally putting country - and decency - over family. I respect them, and feel for them.

  39.  @two-sense  I have friends who've been trying for years to get me on fb... not all the time but every now and then, for example if I express surprise at a development in the life of a mutual acquaintace I haven't seen in a while, the "You should be on facebook" comes back... Or inviting me to an event and then saying, "I wouldn't have found out about this if I wasn't on facebook..." 😣 I find it's a bit like being vegan, when people hear that they almost feel... called out...? While to me it is simply my decision how I waste my own time (typed at 2.53 am, when I had decided to be in bed by 1 🤣)

I'm assuming that by "promote trans kids" you are referring to some parents' attempt to get adequate healthcare and civil rights for their own children who are or may be transgender. Adequate healthcare, civil rights and general acceptance in society would go a long, long way towards lowering the risk of any of these kids hurting themselves, being hurt by others (still the two most likely options), or hurting others. Not least because timely access to adequate healthcare would help to spot and treat any unidentified mental health problems.
