@fionaanderson5796 One of my aunts had that procedure in 1960s Italy (where abortion was not legal at the time) because her first two pregnacies ended in miscarriages. Without that procedure she may have died or become unable to conceive again or carry a pregnancy to term, and I wouldn't have had my cousins (who are now blithely against abortion rights and refusing to understand the implications of these laws). When I hear these people call themselves "pro life" I feel like my brain might explode.
