Don't mind the trolls in this thread - it sounds plausible and after watching this clip, I'm curious to know more about the trump family tree. I didn't even know about the march, so I'll start by reading up on that. But if you could point me to a source for grandpa trump's involvement, I would appreciate it.

Ooooh so I looked it up... "The 1925 Ku Klux Klan March On Washington" is a good overview of the marches of that and the following year, with lots of creepy pics. "These Photographs Show the KKK Washington Parade of 1926" is also pretty comprehensive. A search for "Fred Trump KKK" comes up with lots of results, and it seems that it was daddy, not granddaddy, who was arrested at a klan march - in 1927. Though there may be more to it, and it's possible that Friedrich Drumpf may have been a member. Thank you for sending me down this unpleasant but important rabbit hole.

@ChiChi-809 You're not giving your tax money to Zelenskyy. The US is mostly donating equipment close to its expiry date, that it would have cost to dispose of, and using much of the aid to make more weapons, for yourselves, in the US, employing Americans. While Ukrainians are bleeding to stop their country from being obliterated and the rest of Europe being engulfed by war, your economy *benefits*. Besides, the latest loan comes from interest on confiscated russian assets.

@CyrusVyrus So trump has apparently never changed his position on anything, just to get votes? He literally changed his position on abortion to court the evangelical vote.

@joboygbpedwards It's not about naivety - those are facts. As for "nothing is free", go tell Ukrainians that, they're finding out the cost of Western support.

@joboygbpedwards + the money it would have cost to dispose of those obsolete weapons + the large boost provided to the US economy by the manufacturing of new weapons to replace them + the fact that putin has still not been able to co-opt the whole of Ukraine into his planned invasion of NATO countries, which would involve the US going to war... Oh and throw in there Alaska too, since it hasn't been invaded yet. But you sound like one of the people who actually want the USA to turn into russia 2.0, so presumably you're happy now that process is well underway...?
