@Snigdhorup russia had wanted to invade Ukraine for a long time, even before 2014. I have a feeling putin felt empowered to start the full-scale invasion after the disaster in Afghanistan, but while that totally happened under Biden, it was set up by trump. And let's never forget that trump is putin's puppet - russian propagandists refer to him as "nasha trampushka"... which Timothy Snyder has brilliantly translated as "trumpling dumpling". They know trump is their puppet, and they speak of it openly.
