  2. He does. I've heard him talk very critically about US policy in the Middle East on more than one occasion. But because he's a professional, and takes his job and his platform very seriously, he doesn't make big pronouncements on areas that are not within his specialism.

  13.  @pdoylemi  Sadly, many countries' handling of the pandemic added considerable fuel to the dumpster fire of right-wing conspiracy theories. Speaking as someone who volunteered for vaccine trials (they didn't take me, but I tried several times), vaccine mandates and lockdowns did much greater and long-lasting damage to society than they avoided.
