Diplomacy. And considering that trump was flip-flopping on this and throwing tantrums, but ended up meeting Zelensky in New York (instead of Maralago!!) is already a point to Ukraine. This meeting has the added bonus of showing trump in his worst light to those republicans who do support Ukraine, and are beginning to see him as the kremlin asset he's been all along.

@Taxladysells The war in Ukraine started in 2014: they'd already been at war for 8 years when putin's full-scale invasion began. And your peace-loving "president" tried to blackmail their newly elected president to get fabricated dirt on Biden and his son, *in exchange for military aid*.
