  2. As Zelensky said, in one of his speeches not long after the start of the full-scale invasion, those are not "Western values": they are human values. And I was really happy to hear him say that, because I've been thinking the same for years. Living in the UK, there's a lot of talk of "British values" and I think it's BS. These are human values and Ukrainians already have them in spades.

  4.  @salad7776  Thanks for this quote - I looked him up and he seems interesting, maybe I'll read some of his work at some point. I've had similar thoughts about Shevchenko recently, after reading only two short poems of his: if he came back to life in 2023, he would probably freak out at absolutely everything and believe he must have woken up in some weird alien hell, then he'd see that russia is attacking Ukraine and think "Oh yeah, I know this world alright."

We also know that you are probably a pro-putin troll... and just in case you're not, I suggest looking at your comments and trying to understand why others would think that you are. Then maybe work on the way you communicate your opinions...?
