@ion282 It wasn't just multiple invasions over the course of history... Stalin had deliberately starved millions of Ukrainians to death and had hundreds of Ukrainian artists, writers and intellectuals arrested and murdered in the few years leading up to WW2 🥺

Look up a US historian called Marci Shore, she has a few lectures on Ukrainian history on YT. She's Jewish herself and talks about Ukrainian-Jewish intersectionality. I don't remember which lecture it was but I heard her mention a Jewish Ukranian soldier calling himself a Yido-Banderite (maybe there are a few, there's also a flag)

@jozefgoethals6867 I understand your point of view - if I were Ukrainian I may not feel like watching those videos either. Since I'm not, I do watch them and they are often illuminating, even when horrifying or depressing. Sometimes they are neither, some of the interviewees are undeniably really sound people; but there are so few of those, that I almost understand why they're not rising up against the government at the moment - there are definitely more cops than decent people in the rf.

@leroyanthony1208 Thank you for continuining to debunk your own bs just by the way you express it 😂 Not that you're worth the time it takes to type this, but in the interest of anyone else who may read to the end of this thread, note that I referred to "Stalin" in one comment (he was objectively responsible for both the Holodomor and the Executed Ukrainian Renaissance) and the russian federation in the other comment.Hence, your incoherent riposte accusing me of blaming all russians says a lot more about you than about anything I wrote. Oh and trust me, no one is afraid of you. You're ridiculous.

@elizabethsproule5227 Speaking out against extremism and patronising people are two different things: I don't know where you're from, but in affluent western countries we definitely have a problem differentiating between the two. Patronising people who are currently depending on aid from our own country is a particularly awful, deeply colonial action. Trying to understand what Bandera means to today's Ukrainians and how he became a hero in the first place is a more respectful course of action.
