  1.  @joostdriesens3984  It's a Ukrainian channel, he's never pretended to be neutral. Besides, neutrality in the face of unprovoked invasion and genocide is nothing to be admired - I don't follow "neutral" commentators on purpose, I have no respect for them. Plenty of "Ukrainian problems" do get analysed on this channel - today he happens to be focussing on this area, where things are at the moment going the way they're going. It's also important to give troops a few days' space before reporting, because in some areas, particularly in the east, the frontline is pretty fluid.

  3.  @oldbloke135  Really, no tides? How? Why? Apologies for gushing, this is kind of blowing my mind - I really had no idea. I'd kind of assumed that if the Thames is tidal, so must be the Dnipro, but if the sea it empties into isn't tidal, then presumably neither is the river...? I really need to get my around how this all works
