@davefave4351 It's true that plenty of people in the US live on or even below the poverty line - in the UK too. Getting a job isn't always possible, certainly not a job that pays a real living wage in these countries (I live in London - I know). BUT what this troll, and many others, don't get is that there's no need to choose: our countries have been beefing up for decades in preparation for a war with russia, and now that the war is here we're not even the ones fighting it, and only a small fraction of those defense budgets have gone to Ukraine so far... No hungry person in a Western country is ever going to be fed by that country's defense budget. We need to protect our social security budgets, and stand up to our governments when they try to push policies designed to keep the rich rich and everyone else down. AND we need to keep supporting Ukraine, whose victory means everything, not only to them but also to the rest of the world.

@73chengosaro4 A nation that has remained a nation, and a functioning state, after a huge neighbouring country with massive resources has been trying to wipe it out for over 10 years. Ukraine has made history, all right.
