@madigorfkgoogle9349 There must many different factors - Africa is a big place - but I think the continent's history of Western colonialism, which is not only in the past but continues in many complicated and painful ways - makes it a lot easier for russia, and china, to present themselves as alternatives to the West. I'm just relieved to see that there are people who don't buy this narrative, as powerful as it must be.
