@max_out_your_cc There's still a lot of affection and loyalty for Zaluzhnyy in Ukraine, and understandably so, but It's mostly a matter of branding for RfU, I think - his face became the "face of the channel" early on, just like the narrator's voice is the "voice of the channel", so that when RfU expanded to a whole team, they switched to an AI narrator set to his voice (which is why, sadly, the pronunciation of place names and other Ukrainian words became inconstistent earlier this year). I too think you're trolling, btw, but when trolls give me the chance to make a point that needs making, I reply to them. Україна назавжди💙💛

@richardthomas5362 It's worth pointing out that plenty of other crops are grown in Ukraine... as far as I understand, sunflowers have been grown there for a relatively short time.

@dennisyoung4631 There are people working on that, I read an interesting article on the BBC website last year. I won't post the link here in case my message gets deleted by YT, but if you search "Polluted soil from Ukrainian battlefields analysed" and "BBC" you'll find it

@scipioafricanus5871 Ahhh... that would be so nice, wouldn't it? Returning to this thread because of fresh replies, it's interesting to see that YT - or someone - deleted my sensibly worded reply pointing people to a BBC article from last year, about helping Ukrainians to decontaminate land from heavy metals. I hadn't even posted the link, just the title!! Anyone interested, just search for key words and it will come up. On a similar topic, I've been following Ukrainian sources about the "baby forest" growing back where the Kakhovka reservoir was from the 50s until a year ago - but I don't think I've read or watched anything about it in English yet. It's fascinating from a scientific point of view, and I have found it very hopeful and emotional to listen to.
