@frekihelviti "mostly happy", in the the Gaza strip?? What planet are you on?

@frekihelviti I strongly doubt they live happily in the country trying to exterminate them. And I've know enough people who have spent time in Gaza and the West Bank as well as Israel and know many Palestinians, so I'm not just inventing that.

@ravichitgopkar5304 This war would already be over if Ukrainians had got what they were asking for when they started asking for it, and unless Ukraine wins on its own terms, and russia resoundingly loses, what will happen is that 1) Ukraine will turn into a Palestine of massive proportions and 2) the rest of Europe will turn into a battlefield.

I warmly recommend to everyone in this thread a recent conversation between Timothy Snyder and... a US neocon, of all people: Timothy Snyder on Ukraine, Russia, America—and What’s at Stake (not posting the link in case YT deletes my reply). It's nearly an hour but worth it, you can treat it like a podcast. Illuminating, particularly for people who have trouble understanding why the US should support Ukraine. Please spread this video far and wide!

@@RothchildRockefellerareKILLERSWow you are one dull, repetitive, unimaginative troll - and that's by troll standards.

@patrickkelly6691 There's really no reason to repeat the lies of the Israeli government and the IDF to argue against russian trolls. All the things whose apparent lack you quote as "proof" that a much smaller number of Palestinians than stated have been murdered by the IDF are all things that would happen in countries that are functioning as such - Palestine has been subjected to apartheid and genocide - bankrolled by our governments - for decades, and has been under siege for over a decade. Applying "first world catastrophe standards" to their response to this massacre is asinine, as well as racist.

@frekihelviti The thing is, there are many points in common between russia's genocide in Ukraine and Israel's genocide in Palestine... including both perpetrators claiming ancestral rights over the land, and questioning the very existence of the nations they're going to so much effort to wipe off the face of the Earth. Which may be why Israel has been so ambiguous in its response to russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. That's why those trolls keep hitting that point: because they know it's the weak spot of many in Western countries, which have been bankrolling Israel's genocidal policies for decades. I wear both Ukrainian and Palestinian badges pretty much every time I go out: until we denounce both genocides at once, the dictators and their trolls will always be a step ahead of us.
